ABOUT I LIVE AGAIN (ILA) UGANDA

I LIVE AGAIN (ILA) Uganda is an indigenous, non-profit organization established in 2008, with a mission to give hope to survivors of war through holistic restoration and encourage those we serve to live a life of purpose. We provide Trauma Counselling, Faith-Based Support, Resettlement, Rescue, and Community Care Programs.

Our vision is to see a world where everyone has healing, hope, and identity.

Central to our core values are Christ, family, equity, accountability, and restoration.

Role Summary

The Transport Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the movement of staff, supplies, and partners across various operational zones—refugee camps, reintegration areas, urban offices, and remote communities. More than a driver, they are a trusted logistical companion—ensuring safe travel, respectful conduct, vehicle upkeep, and readiness in the face of changing terrain or weather.

Reporting to the Admin Coordinator, this role also supports light courier responsibilities, guest movement, and preparation for donor visits. Whether transporting counseling kits to a trauma healing event, ensuring a visiting partner team reaches the field safely, or ferrying supplies to The Potters House, the Transport Assistant upholds the rhythm of program delivery with reliability and dignity.
