War doesn't discriminate.

MEN. WOMEN. CHILDREN.

"Just because the guns are silent, it doesn't mean the war has ended. It still rages on in the hearts and the minds of those that have faced it."

OUR COUNSELING PROGRAMS
THE EMPOWER PROGRAM
The EMPOWER Trauma Rehabilitation Program is a culturally sensitive cognitive based therapeutic program designed for war affected individuals. This program was designed in collaboration with Dr. Robi Sondereggar with Family Challenge Charitable Trust as well as contributions by I Live Again Uganda's Founder - Benson Ocen. This acclaimed model is based on years of clinical intervention and worldwide research.
It has been used in war torn regions around the world.
Empower Program Focus:

Gender Based Violence

Gender Based Violence (GBV) is a human rights violation.
The conditions that often characterize forced displacement, including conflict, breakdown of the rule of law, and collapse of family and community structures, tend to increase both the frequency and the brutality of such violence. It can cause long term and/or life threatening injuries to its victims/survivors if not addressed.
I Live Again Uganda has trained counseling staff to support and bring emotional well being to those impacted by GBV in the communities where our services are provided.
